This project was conceived before and during a family visit over a week's time, which I shot and edited. The shooting process was quite convoluted- we didn't have a lot of time (or money) so I shot and edited in XAVC-HS, h264. I used a 2018 Macbook Pro to edit the footage and due to hardware limitations I had to transcode everything to ProRes HQ.
The name means a young rooster, foreshadowing the young man's journey to maturity and adulthood.

Shot on a Sony A6700, with a mix of Sony and Sigma lenses, and utilizing DJI equipment. The entire short was shot using a 1/8th black diffusion filter attached from K&F Concept.
